Please note that visa regulations changes according to the countries, so please contact Turkish Consulate in your own country for the up-to-date information. You will then apply for resident permit while in Turkey. Make sure that you are using your passport while traveling to Turkey. (Not your ID Card)
 

In order to get your touristic  visa please follow up instructions at the below site but you will need to apply for resident permit after arrival.

RESIDENCE PERMIT (AFTER ARRIVAL IN TURKEY)


All international students in Turkey, regardless of status, must register with the Foreign National Departments of the Police Headquarters  to obtain Residence Permit (İkamet Belgesi),  within a month of the entering Turkey.  We will help you with completing forms and procedures.

 

Please take an appointment from our Erasmus office via erasmusincomingcomu.edu.tr in order to fill in the resident permit forms and to pay your resident permit fee. Please bring all the necessary documents which are stated at the below. 

 

DOCUMENTS NEEDED

•     Original passport and photocopy of the passport (including all borders gates stamps) 

•     4 passport biometric sized photos

•     Letter confirming your  student status (will be given by ASTU Registrar’s Office)
